If you fancy the sissy side of the Mont Ventoux, you should go for Sault. Don’t be mislead, also this side is not an easy piece cause you have to do the same final 6 kilometer after the Chalet Renard, where the road from Bédoin joins the road via Sault.
Sault is probably the nicest village of the three departures. It has a cosy city center, nice restaurants and shops and a fantastic view on the back of the Mont Ventoux over the fields. You will also find the typical lavender fields on the plateau along Sault. The disadvantage is that you are a bit away from the usual touristic area, but that might as well be an advantage for people looking after complete rest and silence.
Below, you find a selection of holiday houses in and near Sault offered by Belvilla. Another very good source to book your holiday house in Malaucène is Homeaway.
